I am an experienced consultant in internal communications with a focus on change communication and supporting organisations through strategic transformations. I believe that your people are your best asset and ensuring they understand and support your strategy is key to successful delivery. I have, therefore, spent many years helping companies bring their people with them as they change and worked to ensure employees have a voice through transformation.
I also coach and mentor senior executives and advise corporate communication teams on how to work more effectively.
I spent five years as Director of Internal Communication for Lloyds Banking Group and have undertaken many other internal communication, engagement and culture roles either on a permanent basis or as an interim.
I have also worked in the wider corporate affairs world and have experience of external communication. This is critical in ensuring I can understand and link the internal positioning with what is being said in the world outside the organsiation.
I am a Non Executive Director of Working Families and support their desire to promote flexible working and enabling everyone to find their right balance between work and family life.
I live in a village just outside Bedford with my husband, two dogs and cat. We have a big garden and I am currently trying to recreate the original garden style of the house. I enjoy seeing the garden transform and watch the different colours every season.
We have a house in France and I am learning to speak French as well as spending plenty of time in France every year.
